To protect the health and safety of our employees, our offices are closed until at least mid-September 2021. When our offices reopen, the individual hired for this role will be based in our Charlotte, NC office.


How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

The Distribution Support Associate will be responsible for coordination and support of firm implementation efforts for Distribution retail annuity products, firm initiatives, Distribution Support special projects and communications liaison.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in identifying and adhering to firm requirements for all retail annuity product launches, changes, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal partners such as Client Solutions, Compliance, Legal, Marketing and Product to ensure successful implementation of all firm priorities and projects
  • Manage individual Distribution Support projects that require detailed reporting and accountability with all business partners
  • Effectively partner with Strategic Relationship Managers to help with product questions, fielding of requests, concerns/issues with the firms and product related issues
  • Assist with the delivery of firm communications and rate notifications to external and internal partners


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 3 to 5 plus years’ experience in financial services industry preferred
  • 2 years of annuity or life insurance experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential along with effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of success in managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences in a simple manner
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • FINRA license preferred
