How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

The CRM Data Consultant will be focused on managing data integrity for the SFDC CRM platform.  This individual will audit CRM data quality, define and support process for uploading new advisor information and support distribution and marketing in updating information where relevant.  This position will provide ongoing strategic guidance to the sales and marketing enablement, brand management, product marketing and target advisor engagement teams to improve end-to-end processes, increase visibility of customers and maximize relevant touch points.  

Key aspects of considerations are:

  • CRM Platform: analyze, validate, and govern the data sources & strategy for the CRM platform (e.g. that drive efficiency and visibility for the organization
  • Marketing Automation: provide data & process governance framework to enable strategy for marketing automation capabilities, including tight integration between CRM and Marketing Automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures accuracy of daily, weekly, monthly sales & activity reporting
  • Enhance and maintain critical data relationships across Distribution & Marketing portfolio; for example:
    • Firm to Product relationship
    • Sales Channel/Territory mapping
    • Augment & cleanse data integrity via alternative internal & third-party data resources
  • Lead key initiatives with marketing distribution partners in updating advisor information (e.g. advisor data transition)
  • Supports campaign managers as well as data analysts and digital execution teams to validate reporting on campaign delivery and metrics tracking
  • Validate updates/releases to ensure reports and dashboards are current with business changes and strategy
  • The responsibilities of this position are not limited to this description. The incumbent may also be called on to perform relevant duties as needed

Individual in this role will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment that is continuing to evolve.  They will need the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across the portfolio of needs across the marketing organization. Individual must also be open to continuous learning and adopting new technologies, have a strong technical background as well as work effectively in high-energy, cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of Marketing/Analytics experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator credentials (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience with a wide range of products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein Analytics, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred
  • Team player with a tenacious attitude, competitive spirit, and a great sense of humor
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
  • Ability to work non-standard work hours when needed
  • Ability to lead and manage others in small to intermediate projects without supervision and complex projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work both independently, as well as part of a team
