How you’ll contribute: 
As a Capital Markets and Ratings Analyst you'll be responsible for supporting efforts related to management of capital structure and rating agency activities. This position may require frequent interaction with senior management across Treasury, Risk, Investments, Finance, Actuarial, and other functional areas focusing on capital structure and related metrics (leverage, coverage) and capital markets activity.

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Understand the financing plan and support the execution of the target capital structures for the company and its subsidiaries in line with business objectives and risk appetite
  • Support execution of financing strategies for debt and equity transactions based on financing plan, the company’s financial performance, capital markets environment, and other relevant considerations
  • Validate data and calculate debt and capital structure metrics (cash, free cash flow, leverage, coverage) of the company
  • Assist with maintenance and operation of capital structure, cash, and free cash flow models
  • Assist with development of board and management presentations including capital structure and ratings presentations
  • Support management of relationships with credit rating agencies, including modeling credit agency metrics, supporting preparation for rating agency meetings, and other ad hoc items
  • Research and analyze peer financials, industry and market data
  • Assist with execution of capital return strategies including share repurchases 
  • Support execution of ongoing Treasury processes and reporting, including weekly dashboards, quarterly financial reporting, and other ad-hoc deliverables


We’re looking for people who have: 

  • Undergraduate degree in related discipline required; MBA, CPA, and/or CFA strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience with increasing responsibilities related to capital structure and rating agencies 
  • Professional depth in core areas of required expertise, such as capital markets transactions, capital structure modeling, including experience modeling balance sheets and statements of cash flows
  • Ability to manage relationships with people up, across and down the organization
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, corporate accounting, and/or treasury function preferred

  • Compensation – Base salary ranging from $75,000 - 85,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results
