In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in industry automation processes, data file structures, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, implement, and test requirements for new life and annuity products, system enhancements, conversions, and industry initiatives.

  • Provide ongoing support for production data files, including issue resolution, defect analysis, and daily operational oversight.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Brighthouse Financial’s technology ecosystem and evolving industry standards for data file usage.
  • Represent Brighthouse Financial in industry forums and meetings, contributing insights and updates.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with distributors and vendor partners, serving as a liaison to ensure alignment with Brighthouse Financial’s requirements.
  • Lead project and testing efforts across industry automation platforms as needed

We’re looking for people who have:

  • Preferred 2 years of experience in business requirements development, user acceptance testing, and project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Required familiarity with industry-standard data files and vendor platforms such as DTCC and DST.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment with evolving responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including relationship building, collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and sound business judgment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity effectively.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges

Research shows some people may not apply for a role if they don’t check all the boxes of a job description. If you don’t check every box listed, that’s okay. We would love to hear from you.
