How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

The Infrastructure Delivery Program Coordinator is the central resource for coordinating and organizing the large portfolio of projects that the Infrastructure Delivery team takes on. They are a crucial part of ensuring that all projects with infrastructure delivery requirements are appropriately assigned to an Infrastructure Technical Lead and are following the process set forth by the Infrastructure Delivery team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Infrastructure Delivery Program Coordinator will be responsible for the entire set of projects within the Infrastructure Delivery portfolio.  They will be expected to lead team meetings on a daily basis and review status changes of the work delivered by the Infrastructure Technical Leads.  They will also be responsible for ensuring all documentation required for Infrastructure Delivery is completed and stored on the team’s central repository site.   Other responsibilities of the Infrastructure Delivery Program Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining the central document repository for the team
  • Ensuring the timely completion of project artifacts and archiving them
  • Ensuring the delivery process flow is followed by Infrastructure Technical Leads
  • Supporting demand planning and reviewing infrastructure delivery items within the pipeline
  • Performing weekly status tracking and KPI measurement for delivery of infrastructure services
  • Acting as a first layer of escalation for issues between the technical team and SaaS providers, project teams, or other shared services teams
  • Providing additional support to Infrastructure Technical Leads as required
  • Supporting the Infrastructure Delivery Lead with developing and implementing strategic goals for the program
  • Maintaining an open line of communication with the Infrastructure Delivery Lead and escalating items as appropriate

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 6-8 years of experience within Infrastructure services or general IT
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders is preferred, but not required
  • Project Management professional certification is preferred, but not required
  • Works well in a team environment and can leverage resources when needed
  • Generalized knowledge in the following infrastructure domains:
    • Networking – protocols, routing, firewalls
    • Cloud security
    • Application client configuration
    • Database management
