How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:
As part of the Strategic Relationship Management team, the Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing distribution partners in the Life and IMO Channels. Through strategic planning and execution, he/she will work with the firms at a national level to support their initiatives and drive awareness and consideration of Brighthouse products. This position fills an important role in representing Brighthouse Financial to our firms and within the industry.

•    Business planning and execution: create and execute on business plans for each firm, supporting their core initiatives while promoting the Brighthouse focus and strategy
•    Meeting & Conference support: represent Brighthouse at various firm and industry events
•    Firm support: day to day support of the firms, for all marketing, sales, service or other needs
•    Brighthouse knowledge: proficient knowledge of Brighthouse products, services and systems

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
•    Experience in an account management or relationship management role
•    5+ years experience in the financial services industry
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent presentation skills
•    Attention to detail
•    Create impactful business planning documents and management reporting
•    Ability to multi-task and prioritize various responsibilities
•    Maintain all required continued education
•    Compliance with all industry and company requirements
•    License requirement: Series 6, Series 63, Life license
•    Undergraduate degree preferred

•    Compensation: $63,250 base salary with a competitive monthly variable sales incentive target based on sales results
