How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

In this role you will be taking incoming calls from financial advisors and clients regarding our suite of Life products and solutions.  Provide white glove service to advisors and clients through the SmartCare application process.

 

Work Location:

To protect the health and safety of our employees, our offices are closed until at least mid-September 2021. When our offices reopen, the individual hired for this role will be based in our Charlotte, NC office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Associates will be expected to answer and document inbound calls and provide professional support in regards to our life insurance application process
  • Provide updates throughout the application process to advisor and their respective back office contacts
  • Handles majority of inbound calls and direct to appropriate areas
  • Researches, resolves customer requests and discusses basic solutions
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Create and provide basic illustration upon request
  • Solving advisor’s problems while providing an excellent advisor experience
  • Full accountability and ownership of problems until resolution is complete
  • Provide a world class advisor and client experience
  • Must be available to work between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm (M-F)
  • Other duties as requested

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 1+ year of industry experience
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Expected to maintain a thorough knowledge of existing, new and enhanced products to provide first class service experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of experience and education
  • Must hold or obtain Life and Health Insurance License with Variable Authority and Certified Long-Term Care Designation (CLTC)
  • Must hold or obtain a valid FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 license
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Conscientious and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
