How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

The Quality Assurance Compensation Specialist will support BHF Operations by analyzing advisor compensation data to ensure transactions are appropriate. The individual will assist with the development of a QA program and work with TPA(s) and internal stakeholders to validate transactions and identify trends. Lastly, this position will support BHF Operations by working with TPA(s) to remediate any issues identified relating to the compensation administered on TPA platforms. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with design of QA program to ensure accuracy and completeness of policy level commission transactions 
• Perform commission transaction level validations by reviewing policy admin system, agent data, contracted rate schedules, calculation and disbursement
• Document and communicate findings from review to management
• Create executive reporting analyzing results, trends, issues and remediation plans
• Work closely with TPA(s) and internal stakeholders (e.g., product, operations, distribution) to identify and evaluate remediation plans for issues identified
• Monitor efforts to resolve issues and track progress
• Other duties as requested

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
• 5-7 years of experience in the life insurance and annuity industry with a focus on operations or advisor compensation
• Keen attention to detail
• Data analytical skills 
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools 
• Ability to prioritize and resolve issues 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Undergraduate degree preferred
