SAP CoE IT Solution Lead (Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) or Remote)

How you’ll contribute: 

As an IT Solution Coordinator for SAP Center of Excellence (COE), you’ll be responsible for managing complex cross departmental or enterprise-wide projects / programs (through delivery execution). Managing the operational relationship of vendor sourced solutions and consultants, as necessary. Identifying and assembling the resources required to support the work. Participating in detailed design and development of methodologies, processes and standardization of tools. Facilitating required SAP platform governance and communications. Managing the projects and development teams within the SAP CoE. Understanding and applying knowledge of SAP applications, technology, and industry best practices and performing other duties as assigned or required.

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Analyze, influence, and promote SAP platform operational requirements into strategies that align with our overall technology vision.
  • Create and administer project plans, resource plans, risk assessments and communication plans.
  • Coordinate portfolio prioritization and resource management activities.
  • Maintain regular contact with stakeholders to ensure continued alignment with enterprise and functional objectives.
  • Coordinate and reports on portfolio progress and accomplishments.
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices through informal communication channels and/or formal training sessions.
  • Assist in defining KPIs and recommending appropriate action plans. 
  • Provide oversight and works with project managers in the program to monitor cost, schedule and technical performance of work, while ensuring the ultimate success of the program.
  • Determine and document program and project scope and deliverables based on documentation and requirements supplied.

 

We’re looking for people who have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and related field experience preferred
  • Experience in various business or technology roles with progressive responsibility, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • 3-5 years project and program management experience; SAP project management experience desire
  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management certification desire
  • Experience working with Project Portfolio Management tools; Jira experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of technology concepts and system development lifecycle methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, etc.)
  • Experience with offshore teams and/or vendors.
  • Able to achieve results in a matrix setting through stewardship, influence, motivation and change leadership.
  • Problem-solver with the ability to translate qualitative and quantitative information into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills – including oral and written communications, relationship building, collaboration, influencing, negotiation and conflict mediation – across a broad range of levels in the organization.

  • Compensation – Base salary ranging from $95,000 to $120,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
