How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

The Senior Installations Consultant will be responsible for supporting the execution and maintenance of Life Broker Dealer selling agreements, commission schedules and firm implementation.  Additional responsibilities to support Distribution Support on BGA responsibilities.

 

Work Location:

To protect the health and safety of our employees, our offices are closed until at least September 2021. When our offices reopen, the individual hired for this role will be based in our Charlotte, NC office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively partner with Distribution Support and Strategic Relationship Management to ensure successful implementation of all Life conversions which will include Life Broker Dealer firm back office access and data.    
  • Coordinate and work closely with key partners (Distribution, Commissions, Compliance, Legal, Licensing and Operations and Product) for Installations support of the Life and BGA Channel.  
  • Assist in resolution of Life broker dealer firm escalations and/or high profile installation cases received from team, management and broker dealer firms.
  • Effectively communicate all Installation’s requirements to our Third Party Life Distribution firms which includes Life Broker Dealer Back Office Access and Life Broker Dealer Selling agreements/Commission Schedules.
  • Maintain the Installations Life Broker Dealer firm data on required systems and documents.
  • Effectively execute the Installations Department due diligence’s process and the development, vetting, and execution of new Life BD selling agreements and commission schedules.
  • Facilitate Broker-Dealer name changes, acquisitions, mergers, and terminations.
  • Additional duties as requested

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 2 years of life insurance experience, preferably with back office responsibilities.
  • 3 to 5 plus years’ experience in financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of success in managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences in a simple manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • FINRA license preferred.
