UX Content Specialist (Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) or Fully Remote)

Where you’ll work:
Our hybrid workplace model offers the freedom to work fully remote or occasionally in one of our offices. This is a remote position with a hybrid option for candidates based in Charlotte, NC. 

How you’ll contribute:
As a UX Content Specialist you’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of user-friendly content across web experiences to support servicing, growth, and enterprise initiatives. As a subject matter expert in UX content, this role will ensure consistency of language and experience across digital platforms, managing the UX content standards, delivering content that creates engaging, useful, and customer-focused experiences

In this role, you’ll get to:
•    Simplify experiences by distilling complexity into clear and actionable content 
•    Collaborate with partners to create and optimize content that delivers upon the needs of the business and the user, considering business goals, priorities, pain points, use cases and key objectives
•    Oversee web content throughout its lifecycle including phases of planning, creation, delivery, and maintenance
•    Present recommendations to stakeholders and content creators, using expertise to influence experiences
•    Be meticulous for consistency and clarity of experience through writing, editing, and developing content across all stages of the digital experience
•    Maintain a wide range of content documentation and deliverables including copy decks, site maps, content audits, content mapping, journey mapping and gap analyses
•    Encourage standardization and reuse of content by maintaining UX content standards and content libraries
•    Champion content guidelines and best practices to establish consistency across digital platforms for content structure, calls to action, navigation, copy length, title length, wayfinding, form fields, error messaging and button copy
•    Leverage research and data to continuously analyze and improve content performance, reporting on efforts, successes, and learnings

We’re looking for people who have
•    3-5 years of experience in UX content or related fields such as content strategy, user experience or marketing
•    Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or other related disciplines preferred
•    Demonstrated proficiency in UX writing and information architecture
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills along with being detail oriented.
•    Strong ability to make decisions and prioritize tasks effectively applying data-driven approach.
•    Curiosity, empathy, and problem-solving skills
•    Self-motivation with a high level of accountability and is passionate and committed to delivering the right content at the right time to best serve our users.

•    Compensation – Base salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results
