We have been made aware of a fraudulent scheme involving fake job offer letters that claim to be from Brighthouse Financial. These fraudulent letters feature Brighthouse Financial’s name and logo without permission in an attempt to convey authenticity. In addition, these letters may include Form I-9s and/or direct deposit authorization forms that recipients are asked to complete. The aim of this scam is to trick individuals into providing personal or financial information, which can then be used to commit fraud. Please know that any legitimate communications related to Brighthouse Financial job offers will always come from an official Brighthouse Financial email account.
