We’re looking for people who have:

5+ years sales experience wholesaling in the industry (internal, external or combination).
Prior Point of Sale experience.
Proven ability to build strong relationships.

How you’ll contribute:

As a Lead Quantitative Analyst, you’ll be responsible for leading projects for multiple aspects of variable, structured and fixed annuity asset and liability management (ALM), including hedging, reporting, modeling, and sensitivity analysis.

In this role, you’ll get to:

Be part of the team that hedges Brighthouse variable, structured and fixed annuities with equity and interest rate derivatives.
Apply your skills in risk management and derivative valuation for risk analysis and hedging.
Improve modeling of risk, streamline hedging processes and tools, and implement new hedging methods by prototyping in MS Excel or Python.
Work with IT and others to implement and automate hedging processes using Python, SQL and other tools.
Generate key reports for senior management on the performance of hedging programs.
Communicate with business constituents in multiple other departments at Brighthouse.
Lead projects encompassing all the above for business-critical purpose.

We’re looking for people who have:

Degree in mathematics, statistics, physical science or actuarial science.
10+ years of experience in equity and interest rate derivative pricing and sensitivity calculation, modeling and quantitative finance.
Experience developing and implementing production‑quality systems, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Additional programming languages and experience with data visualization tools are a plus.
Strong relational database design skills: data modeling, entity-relationship diagramming, database normalization.
High level math skills in calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, stochastic processes.
Strong general analytical problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with people who have widely varying backgrounds.
Strong documentation skills.
Ability to work well in a team and lead projects.

In this role, you’ll get to:

Responsible for building new and maintaining existing relationships with financial advisors in central/western Tennessee and northern/central Alabama to increase revenue from annuity sales. Ensuring trust from the financial advisor is crucial for the successful execution of the job.
Conduct joint meetings with financial advisors and clients to educate and sell annuities. Additionally, actively consult and advise financial advisors to provide them with value-added strategies to increase the business with their clients.
Collaborate with financial advisors to include annuities in financial plan for clients. Ability to educate financial advisors on financial products and the process of selling annuities.
Conduct meetings, seminars and training workshops to current and prospective customers to increase the knowledge of Brighthouse Financial’s products, describe our value proposition and present our products in the context of sales ideas.
Strategically plan and manage the deployment of resources to maximize territorial sales while being responsible for budgeting and expenses.
Work in conjunction with the assigned Internal Wholesaler to identify and foster leads generated by from referrals, ad campaigns and territory canvassing.
Responsible for keeping financial advisors informed of rapidly changing products and service agreements.
Must actively develop new relationships with financial advisors to significantly capture sales and grow assets, especially in key accounts, as well as servicing existing producing agents.
Provide competitive intelligence to sales and product management on a regular basis, as well as reporting and managing contacts (face-to-face).

We’re looking for people who have:

5+ years sales experience wholesaling in the industry (internal, external or combination).
Prior Point of Sale experience.
Proven ability to build strong relationships.
Proven ability to grow a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business.
Must hold a valid FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 license.
Must hold and maintain an active Life, Health and Variable Insurance License in their resident state.

In this role, you’ll get to:

Continuously develop knowledge of Brighthouse Financial Annuity & Life product lines, systems, and processes.
Answer and document inbound calls, providing sales support and positioning to financial advisors for our solutions.
Help support submission of business by understanding licensing, training, firm, state, and application requirements.
Identify advisor need on issues, research, and resolve requests. Involve other distribution business partners if needed to resolve issues and take accountability until complete.
Provide product illustrations, as well as utilize the marketing resources available to complement further advisor engagement.
Identify sales opportunities on incoming calls and refer to Internal Wholesaler.
